Bee Strong

Hello everyone this is Mona back with a fun card featuring several of Kat Scrappiness dies and a lovely stamp set from Gerda Steiner.
I started by doing my card base  4 1/4x 5 1/2 and picking the pattern paper from my stash. I started by die cutting the Gift Bag Die twice then I proceeded by die cutting a square to make my Shaker card in the first bag using Stitched Square Dies now for my card base I used the largest die in the Stitched Rectangle Die set .
Now for the fun part I stamped this cute stamp called Bee Strong by Gerda Steiner using my Jet Black from Lawn Fawn then used my alcohol markers to colour the image.
I took out my sequins called Bumble Bee Sequins mix that is perfect for this card went ahead and   used two way foam tape to adhere both bags together then adhered everything else in place. This completes my card for today, hope you enjoyed it.

Flipper Paradise

Hello everyone this is Mona back with a fun art journal page featuring Kat Scrappiness brand new Stitched Dolphins die set and  the  Sign post die set .
I  started with my three favourite colours I'd Distress Oxide Broken ChinaFaded Jeans and Wilted Violets to make my background using my Dreamweaver Stencil Brush.
Once all three colours were to my satisfaction I took a old paint brush dipped it in water and added some splatters , took my big brush markers to make a horizontal line to differentiate the ocean from the sky.
I added some Stamping at the bottom using my Jet Black Lawn Fawn Ink and a stamp set from my stash. Coloured in the seaweeds using some alcohol markers. I also die cut the 3 dolphins twice once in black to create the shadow and in white to be able to colour them in gray.
Heee is where I die cut my sign post coloured it a very light beige then added a wood grain stamp over using a light brown ink to imitate the wood. Took my sharpie and just wrote random things on my posts. I also added a moon. This concludes my mini tutorial for today hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for for stopping by and hope to see you again soon. Don't forget to stop by Kat Scrappiness store at for your shopping convenience.

Choose to be happy

Hello everyone this is Mona back with a fun journal page featuring the brand new die set from Kat Scrappiness called Cute Layered Owl Die Set.. everyone knows I love owls so this is a favourite of mine. Let me walk you thru the steps of my journal page.
I started by adding modpodge with torn pieces of script paper  in random places  on my background , once that was dry I added a thin layer of light blue paint on top. Now for the fun part took out many different stencils white and dark blue paint and stencilled using my Dream weaver Stencil Brush. For the finishing touch I added a bit of stamping using a old script stamp and some Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink.
This is what I used to cut my elements for my page , Kat Scrappiness cute owl die set and a stampendous set for the tree. I also stamped a fence twice and fussy cut them. I used my alcohol markers to colour in all my images.
Once everything was cut out I placed it on my page and adhered it with modpodge. This is where I noticed I needed more stencilling so added a bit more. I continued by adding the shadow all around my images, used a green marker to add grass and finished off by adding my sentiment.
This finishes off my mini tutorial, than you very much for stopping by . I hope to see you again soon. Bye bye for now 😊

Get well soon- pop card

Good day everyone this is Mona back with a fun card idea for ScraPerfect.

This is the stamp set I used from Art Impression , the set comes with all stamps, dies and instructions.

I started with cutting my card base  41/4 x 51/2 . I coloured all the pieces and die cut them.

I went on to assembling my pieces and adhering it down with the the Best Glue Ever using my no clog writing cap to make sure I add just a small amount since the pieces are so little it's easier to align in the right spot. This Glue only requires a little amount it is very tacky and is very powerful, it also dries clear in case it oozes out.

I turned my pop up card into a get well soon card for my brother who has been suffering from MS for many years and has been really on a low lately. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and make sure to stop in at to check out all their other great supplies. Hope to see you again soon
